The Downtown Parking Garage provides convenient parking offering 384 parking spaces. If you’re a downtown business owner, employee or visitor the garage provides affordable all-day parking.

Entrances located on Callan Avenue and Estudillo Avenue between E 14th Street and Harrison Street.

How to Pay at a Pay Station:

  1. Press START key to wake up the pay station.
  2. Enter your License Plate using the keypad.
  3. For coin payment, enter quarters only and press CONFIRM to complete transaction, OR
  4. For card payment/tap to pay, use the +/- keys to increase or decrease the duration for 1st floor hourly parking (max 3 hours), OR press the MAX key to pay for 3rd floor daily public parking (expires 6:00pm), then press CONFIRM.
  5. Insert/remove credit card quickly or hold card or phone over the Tap to Pay symbol and wait for the beep.
  6. Confirm the transaction has completed and enjoy Downtown San Leandro!
    *REMEMBER: You do not need to display a receipt, your license plate serves as proof of payment.

How to Pay by App:

ParkMobile is a convenient way to pay for your on-street parking through your mobile phone. In addition to the ability to pay for your parking with just a click of a button, you can also set up notifications to alert you when your parking session is set to expire. The Parkmobile app is free, however transaction fees apply.

How to Use ParkMobile:

  1. Download the ParkMobile App to your Apple or Android device.
  2. Sign up with an easy registration.
  3. Enter the correct Zone Number for where you parked: zone 3998 for 1st floor hourly parking or zone 3996 for 3rd floor daily parking.
  4. Confirm the zone number, location, and license plate number for the parked vehicle.
  5. Select a payment method and the choose the duration you wish to park.
  6. Confirm your parking session and enjoy Downtown San Leandro!
  7. NOTIFICATION: You can enable notifications to let you know when your parking session is about to expire. You have the option to extend your session through the mobile app, up to the maximum time allowed in that parking zone.

CREATE AN ACCOUNT TO PURCHASE

STEP TWO:

Select Request a Permit.

STEP THREE:

Select a permit type from the drop down list and click Request Permit.

STEP FOUR:

Choose a permit renewal period, enter the required information, register up to two vehicles (per permit) and review and affirm the permit user acknowledgements.

STEP FIVE:

Click Add Permit to Shopping Cart and review the information on the next page.

When ready, click Save and Continue to proceed to payment.

OR:

Click Continue Shopping to add multiple permits to your shopping cart.

When ready, click Save and Continue to proceed to payment.

STEP SIX:

Enter your Credit/Debit Card Information and Card Holder Information, follow the instructions for setting up your user account, and then click Complete Purchase.

HOW DO I CREATE AN ACCOUNT?

The permit registration portal will provide on-screen instructions to register and purchase your parking permit or use link above to view the step-by-step instructions.

Please Note:

You must purchase your parking permit and have it registered as valid in the system before you may park, or you may receive a parking citation.
If you drive multiple vehicles, it is your responsibility to ensure the vehicle you are parking is registered as the active vehicle for your permit, or you may receive a parking citation.
